Running a shop means doing a LOT of field sales. Example: I set up a calibration business and want to work expand my service capacity. Or I'm a sublet provider who's trying to work with another shop. In both cases, I have to hop from shop to shop and convince them to let me recalibrate their cars so they can make a little bit more money on top of every repair. If we're doing a revenue share, I then have to get them to email me every estimate so I can figure out what has to be calibrated. Then we have to figure out the mechanics of the revenue share. And so on and so forth... It's a super offline process. We're bringing all of it online with Revv.

Very excited to share a fresh case study with Essential Auto Calibration & Glass 🏎️ 📈 Michael Frangione has been in the bodyshop world since he was a kid. He opened Essential Auto in 2023 after realizing Ontario desperately needed a calibration facility outside the dealership world. As Ottawa's first and only standalone calibration facility, Michael needed the best ADAS diagnostic toolkit to help him scale. Here’s what happened when he met Revv at SEMA last year. 1. Challenge Essential Auto's technicians were manually finding calibration requirements via OEM portals. This was taking 60 minutes per car. The team was using ADAS diagnostics tools, but they weren't trustworthy. They would either miss critical calibrations or, in the case of one popular tool, weren't compatible with German vehicles. Michael wanted a solution with better vehicle coverage, better accuracy, and the ability to be rolled out across Essential Auto's partner shops. ↓ 2. Solution Revv automatically turns repair estimates into ADAS reports in seconds using the latest OEM data across every popular make and model — meaning Essential Auto can pinpoint more calibrations, in less time, with more accuracy. Michael also installed an instance of his own Revv account into his partner shops. Now, each shop has a login and can run calibration reports on their own. ↓ 3.
