After last week's global technology outage incident, it became more obvious than ever how critical and pervasive cybersecurity roles are in our increasingly digital world. ✈ That's why it's no surprise that by 2030, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a staggering 30% growth in security roles, far outpacing the average growth rate for other occupations. 📈 While other cybersecurity programs may cover the basics, Rize goes above and beyond to ensure students are prepared for the most in-demand roles in the industry. 🎓 In our program, students gain hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Splunk and ethical hacking tools like Kali Linux and explore emerging technologies like AI and blockchain. They learn to apply industry frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MITRE ATT&CK. The Northeast may be one of the regions impacted most by the demographic cliff, but some small colleges are bucking the trends by honing in on their mission, identifying new ways to innovate, and further investing in the student experience. ⚡ St. John Fisher University is welcoming not only its largest first-year class to-date, but also "the most academically qualified and most diverse pool of applicants in its history" 👏 👏 👏 Nearby Roberts Wesleyan University recently launched 8❗ new career-oriented degree programs in high-demand fields.
