We are delighted to have Dr. Thayer join our group of experienced Doctors! Dr. Thayer brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our community. After a brief career as a financial analyst in New York, he graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2001. He then served with the United States Naval Forces until 2004, before pursuing specialized training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in Dallas. There, he also earned his Medical degree and completed General Surgery training. Dr. Thayer finished his residency in 2010 and went on to complete a fellowship at the Charleston Area Medical Center in West Virginia. He specializes in pediatric craniofacial defects, pathology, and reconstructive procedures. From 2012 to 2014, Dr. Thayer was a faculty member at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he played a key role in resident and student education and contributed to the University’s Cleft and Craniofacial Team. He also completed a Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgery preceptorship during this time. Dr. Thayer’s research focuses on correcting jaw and facial deformities, as well as craniofacial trauma and reconstruction. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Medical Association. We are confident that Dr. Thayer will be an incredible asset to our team and look forward to the exceptional care he will provide to our patients.

Welcome to the team, Dr. Collazo! He is a board-certified dentist with a passion for positively impacting lives. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, earning a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. With a deep-rooted connection to dentistry through his family, Dr. Collazo's father practiced as an orthodontist in Little Rock, AR, for over 30 years, and his brother continues to practice as an orthodontist in Memphis, TN. Dr. Collazo is driven by his passion for working with children and helping others. He finds fulfillment in enhancing smiles, addressing urgent needs, and collaborating with individuals to find solutions tailored to their needs. Dr. Collazo's diverse interests and dedication to his profession make him a valued member of the dental community. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Collazo is a multifaceted individual. He is a talented singer-songwriter, actor, and avid tennis player. When he isn’t tending to smiles you can find him hiking, running, and camping. Dr. Collazo finds joy in being around his family and friends, cherishing moments spent with loved ones. We are pumped to have him join our team!
