RTX will team with Airbus and MBDA on the next generation medium multirole rotorcraft (NGRC). This transatlantic collaborative research effort led by Airbus, is key to providing the most technologically competitive military helicopters for NATO nations. RTX businesses Collins Aerospace and Raytheon will develop solutions to increase pilot situational awareness across a broad scope of operations, with a connected platform leveraging a multidomain combat cloud, as well as new digital engineering approaches. The Netherlands and Austria took a significant step forward for their military airlift and transport capabilities this week at #FIA2024. We're proud to supply the multi-mission C-390 Millennium with technologies including Collins Aerospace Avionics and the V2500-E5 engine from IAE AG – a multinational consortium that includes Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International GmbH, Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines.

With over 30 million flight hours, Pratt & Whitney’s F100 engine powers the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon, which celebrates 50 years of flight this year.
