Presentations shouldn't be desktop-only! Here's how to create mobile-friendly presentations that wow your audience, no matter the device:   Think Big, Design Small: Focus on clear, concise content. Use large fonts, bold headlines, and bullet points for easy readability on small screens.   Simplicity Rules: Stick to a clean layout and avoid complex animations that might not display well on mobile devices.   Test it Out: Before presenting, view your slides on a mobile phone or tablet! This helps catch any formatting issues.   By following these tips, you can ensure your presentations look sharp and deliver your message effectively, no matter what device your audience uses. Mobile-friendly presentations, happy audience! #presentationtips #publicspeaking

Capturing online attention in a flash? Here's how to tell captivating stories that grab your audience in 5 small steps: Start Strong: Use a surprising fact, a relatable anecdote, or a thought-provoking question to hook them right away. This is most important because if you fail to interest them here, it will be more difficult to get them later. Keep it Simple: Don't overload your audience with information. Focus on a single, clear message. One message, one call to action, one audience. Show, Don't Tell: Use visuals! Images, infographics, or short videos can break up text and make your story more memorable. Emotions Matter: Inject emotion into your story. Make it funny, heartwarming, or suspenseful. This keeps them glued to each and every word you say. End with a Bang: Leave a lasting impression with a strong conclusion. Summarize your key point and call your audience to do an action. Following these tips can transform your online presentations from bland to brilliant! Don't fail anymore with our tips! #presentationtips #publicspeaking

Online presentations can be a battleground of distractions! But fear not, presenter padawan! Here are my 3 tips to get your inner Jedi Master ready and keep your audience engaged: - Close useless browser tabs and takedown notifications. Minimize distractions for yourself and especially your audience. - Use live polls, Q&A sessions, or screen sharing to keep your viewers actively participating. (cf. Our Post on Polls can help you) - Don't just stand there and talk. Virtual is now as real as Real Life! Use hand gestures and facial expressions, and change your tone to keep things interesting. My S-Tier Tip: A well-designed presentation (through Canva or Powerpoint) will help you channel your energy in the right direction. Tired of one-sided Zoom meetings? Live audience polling will transform your next session! Here are our 3 hacks to use polling like a pro: 1. Choose questions that fit your content and keep them simple. Multiple choice works well for quick engagement (the more open the questions are, the less engagement we saw on our end) 2. Don't overload your audience. Space out polls throughout your presentation to keep them engaged. 3. Don't just show the answers. Talk about what they mean and how they connect to your points. This keeps your audience interested now that they are a part of the statistics! S-Tier Tips: You can be more creative with polls than you currently think! Use polls for quizzes, icebreakers, or even voting on important decisions. This makes your meeting interactive and engaging! Live polling turns your Zooms into a two-way street which will boost engagement in your meetings! Do you use polls in another way? #presentationtips #publicspeaking

You've delivered a great presentation, but what's next? If you forget, this element, you have just done a presentation for nothing! a clear and compelling call to action (CTA) will leave your audience knowing what to do next. From my experience, here are 3 elements for a good CTA: Please Be Specific, don't just say "think about this." Tell them exactly what you want them to do – visit your website, download a resource, or contact you. And Make it Easy, remove any barriers to action. You don't want them to give up because it is too complicated to access your CTA, right? Finaly End Strong, leave a lasting impression. Summarize your key points before your CTA. Most people will only remember the last 15 minutes. S-Tier Tip: Only One! Too many CTAs will provide 0 results. What are your best CTAs to use? Comment below! #presentationtips #publicspeaking

Presentations can feel one-sided. You deliver your message, but how do you know it lands? The key is building a feedback loop. Here are 3 of my strategies I use to get insights from my audience and to sharpen my presentations: The best one is Polls & Q&A to engage your audience! Use polls during your presentation or a Q&A after the presentation. This will help you see where you can clarify. The easiest one is Feedback Forms. They are simple surveys you can distribute before or after your talk. Ask for honest feedback on content, delivery, or anything else you want to improve. My S-Tier Tip: Give something valuable (which gives back cost, time or access) for their feedback. Insist on giving the freebie even for negative comments! The most powerful is One-on-One Chats: Talk to attendees after the presentation. Ask specific questions to understand their perspective and what stuck with them. Incorporating this feedback creates a loop: Present, Gather Insights, Refine, and Present Better. Do, Learn, Improve, Repeat. The result? Presentations that truly connect with your audience and outstanding returns on investment on your objective. #presentationtips #publicspeaking

Nervous about public presentations? Record yourself! It's a secret weapon to boost your skills. See yourself in action! Rewatch your videos to find areas to improve, like body language or talking too fast. My advice is to record your talk, watch it back, fix any problems, and record again! Grab their attention! Video helps see if your message is interesting. Are you connecting with yourself? Feeling good on camera = confident presenter! Recordings are a safe space to practice and overcome stage fright. S-Tier Tip: Share recordings with a friend or family for feedback. Video recording can turn you into a captivating storyteller!
