The launch of our career development program in connection with our alumni circle has brought together so much that is SOS Outreach. It has activated the skills that are developed across over multiple years through our curriculum. It has provided a critical space to connect the incredible talent of our kids to opportunities for them to demonstrate that talent. It has created career pathways for kids who would not otherwise have considered them or been considered by the industry. AND these efforts were led by alumni. The career program curriculum was co-developed by a graduate and the alumni network has been led by a graduate since day 1. #thisissos Huge thank you to Vail Resorts, VF Corporation, The VF Foundation, evo, Oberalp Group, Optic Nerve Eyewear, Armada Skis, Sonnenalp Hotel of Vail, Smartwool, a VF Company, Elevate Outdoor Collective, Tecnica Group North America, U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team and many others who stepped forward to say our kids belong. These organizations worked with us to build experiences for our kids. The impact is that over half of the kids who have gone through the program continue to be employed at their host sites. 30 years in and it feels like we're just getting started with living our potential.
