Our Fairview Clinic is hosting the PT Olympics as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society - Tennessee! They held their opening ceremony today, and Jewell was our torchbearer! Jewell is a Fairview patient who came to us initially in a wheelchair and was unable to transfer herself after a leg amputation. She is now able to walk short distances with a cane! The Fairview PT Olympics are now underway! The PT Olympics are pay-to-play, where each therapist represents a different country. Patients can donate to a country, and each week, we have 5 or 6 “minute to win it” style games they can play that vary in difficulty so everyone can participate.
