Recently we presented several of our latest products and innovations to Volvo Cars at a Tech Day in Gothenburg, Sweden.    Our dedicated Product Management, Program Management, Application Engineering, and Advanced Technology teams showcased our portfolio, which featured new fluid handling solutions, including thermal management, battery housing (HVBE), ADAS cleaning, and hydrogen lines.    This gave attendees an opportunity to get up close to innovative products such as our Integrated Thermal Manifold, Integrated Thermal Module Refrigerant, Inner Battery Fluid Distributor and Thermoplastic Refrigerant Lines.   We ran presentation sessions throughout the day, along with Q&As, discussions and a walk-around product display.   Thank you to our team for all the effort and preparation that went into making this event a success.

Last week, we were pleased to host Kevin Terrell Heard, MBA, President of the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce, at our corporate office. He spoke to us about the meaning and impact of intersectionality, leading a thought-provoking conversation that encouraged us to reflect on our own experiences and consider how we can contribute to a more inclusive environment for everyone. The event also marked Juneteenth, a significant day in American history that celebrates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It was important to observe both Juneteenth and Pride to emphasise the value of understanding the different experiences and obstacles our colleagues and communities face. Yesterday, US media joined us in Auburn Hills, Michigan, for the official opening of our all-new e-Mobility Innovation Centre (eMIC).    Designed to nurture customer collaboration, the Auburn Hills eMIC promotes innovation, making it faster and more efficient for North American automakers to develop thermal management systems for hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery electric vehicles.   The day started with remarks from President and CEO, Hans Dieltjens, and Chief Technology Officer, Johannes Helmich, followed by a roundtable Q&A discussion. The journalists were then given an exclusive tour of the new facility.   We’d like to thank all those who joined us today and congratulate our team on the successful opening of our brand-new eMIC.

We were delighted to celebrate Pride Month with a special event organized by our U.S. Diversity & Inclusion Committee, featuring Kevin Terrell Heard, MBA, President of the Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Today, Kevin led us through a thought-provoking conversation on the meaning of intersectionality and its impact on our interactions. By exploring intersectionality, we aim to deepen our understanding of diversity and strengthen our efforts to create a culture of equality and respect. Kevin’s expertise and passion for promoting LGBTQ+ rights and inclusion provided us with valuable insights on how we can enhance our workplace culture. Today also marked Juneteenth, a significant day in American history. Celebrating Juneteenth alongside Pride Month highlights the importance of recognizing and addressing the diverse experiences and challenges faced by our colleagues and communities. Thank you to the U.S. D&I Committee for organizing this important event, and to Kevin Heard for sharing his valuable insights with us.
