Harnessing Unite Us as their tech infrastructure, Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and First 1,000 Days Suncoast are transforming health outcomes for new mothers and families in Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto counties throughout pregnancy and a child’s first 1,000 days of life. Conference Experience. Highlights included: - the power of collective impact including the vision of Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation and many other foundational leaders in spearheading the initiative and having Sarasota Memorial Health Care System as the backbone organization - the initiative's 3 key components, the activities and interventions within each of them, as well as their outcomes - the value of Unite Us as our technological infrastructure, creating a more seamless referral process as well as providing informative data to address inequities, fill gaps in services and barriers to care - our gratitude to Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation for supporting our fundraising efforts as well as the contributions from many other local foundations and individual donors - the importance of having parent leaders as co-creators when building sustainable and effective strategies and programs
