#TeamVizy is all about #LookingLocalEverywhere. We encourage our team to take time off from the office and the daily grind and support local businesses while doing so! Our Marketing Coordinator, Miguel, recently returned from his annual family vacation to Grand County, Colorado! This year's trip was extra special, as they went to celebrate his wife's birthday. When asked about the most memorable part of his trip, Miguel said, "We have several traditions like hiking the Colorado River trail, hitting up mini golf courses in Grand Lake & Winter Park, and eating our favorite places. The nice thing about this area is that 90% of all businesses are locally owned and rely on their summer visitors for a big chunk of their business." He made sure to stop at a family favorite, Hernando's Pizza Pub, a local pizzeria covered in dollar bills from floor to ceiling. They got their usual, the Column 1 pizza, a tasty pie topped with pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, salami, ham, and bacon. His family also enjoyed horseback riding at Winding River Resort. The views were beautiful! Miguel also recommends making a reservation before visiting Rocky Mountain National Park & visiting in the early hours for the best views of the Milky Way. We're glad that Miguel enjoyed his trip & even more happy to have him back in the office! Where should #TeamVizy visit next?! 📍
