Travelers seeking to maximize their experience should consider the advantages of shoulder season. Typically, shoulder season falls between peak and low seasons, such as in September and May. Flights and accommodations are lower compared to peak season prices. With fewer tourists around, you can explore attractions more comfortably and have a more authentic experience.

The World #Happiness Report was revealed last month, and for the seventh year in a row, #Finland has taken the first place. Earning this coveted designation has proven to be a game-changer for the country, as it skyrockets in popularity as a tourist destination. At Voyagu, we observed a significant increase in bookings to Finland departing from the United States. This emerging traction probably has been bolstered after Eugene Levy, host of The Reluctant Traveler, immersed himself in the happiest nation in the world and engaged in activities such as reindeer feeding, ice fishing, and, of course, seeing the iconic and colorful northern lights. From white nights to the classic Finnish sauna experience, this country has something to offer year-round. Have you been to Finland? If so, what was your favorite experience? Let us know in the comments section!

At the heart of every #festival there is a joy of bringing people together in celebration and unity. From colorful art events to mesmerizing moon celebrations, there's a world of festivities waiting to uplift your spirits and create unforgettable memories. Since there's always a reason to celebrate, check a list of cultural festivals to attend this year: 📍Switzerland, Art Basel June 13 – 16 Art Basel is a renowned international event for the #art community. With participation from more than 250 prominent galleries and the display of artworks by over 4,000 artists, the event also hosts numerous art-centric discussions and presentations. However, Art Basel isn't just for art enthusiasts; it transforms the often-overlooked Swiss city and its surroundings into vibrant hubs of activity during the festival period. 📍Japan, Aomori Nebuta Festival August 2 – 7 Every August, travelers flock to Aomor to witness the grand spectacle of lantern floats parading through the city. These illuminated floats, known as nebuta, are animated by dancers and musicians, captivating the audience with their vibrant displays. The culmination of the festival takes place on the final evening, as the nebuta are showcased in Aomori Bay amidst a dazzling fireworks show that illuminates the night sky. 📍Greece, August Moon Festival August 19 Tourists gather at renowned historical locations such as the Acropolis and the Roman Agora to enjoy nighttime #performance during the full moon. Festivities feature a variety of artistic expressions, including theatrical shows, poetry recitals, concerts, and other cultural events held at over one hundred archaeological sites, monuments, and museums across the country. 📍Egypt, Abu Simbel Sun Festival October 22 In order to reach the heart of this UNESCO-designated temple, guests must first pass through its striking entrance, which features grand statues. Inside, they will find a grand hall, two treasure rooms, and the Hypostyle Hall adorned with ornate pillars and bas-reliefs. Following a morning tour, both locals and tourists enjoy traditional Nubian dance and live music outside, along with food stalls serving fresh koshari, Egypt's signature dish.

Multigenerational #travel is gaining popularity, offering profound and enriching experiences for families. It's the excitement of discovering and tracing family roots back to distant lands or immersing in cultural traditions passed down through the ages. As grandparents and grandchildren traverse the globe, they form a deeper bond, live through new experiences, and create unforgettable family memories. In a recent conversation with Amelia Edelman for Yahoo Life, our CEO Ivan Saprov mentioned that a growing number of our clients are embarking on #multigenerational journeys, particularly for cultural and ancestry trips: https://lnkd.in/dZq4VQBN From exploring ancestral villages to indulging in local cuisines, every moment helps to forge meaningful connections across generations, deepening their understanding of each other and celebrating their shared history.
