Waypoint’s customer is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Engineer (HYBRID) to join their team at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in assisting leadership in defining and enforcing the Hydra API on software vendors for various Army intelligence systems. Key Responsibilities: 🔹 Work with existing vendors, such as Palantir, to ensure API conformance. 🔹 Assist leadership in defining and enforcing the Hydra API specifications for their programs of record. 🔹 Ensure that Army equipment data is accurately read and written to/from vendor databases using the Hydra API. 🔹 Read API specifications and use REST tools (e.g., Postman, Curl) to interact with REST implementations. 🔹 Report status to government customers and enforce government guidelines on vendors.
