In May, the Staten Island NFP program celebrated Mother's and Father's Day on a beautiful afternoon at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center. Several families attended, including moms, dads, grandmas, and little ones. Each participant received a kit with a small flower pot, seeds, and dirt to plant and take home. Following tradition, babies provided footprints for a poem for mom. Parents and caregivers also received gifts donated by Project Glimmer and Good+ Foundation to celebrate their special day.
