Attending the Women in Sales X Zillow event last night was an incredible experience! Started the evening on the beautiful rooftop of The Pendry for a lively happy hour, followed by a thought-provoking panel session moderated by the amazing Jen Allen-Knuth who I got to share a table with. LOVE all your content Jen but definitely my favorite are the Saturday ones! 🐶 We also got a delightful 3-course tasting menu, and ended the night with open networking.The energy in the room was unmatched, and the sense of community was truly special. A huge shoutout to Zillow for making the night even more memorable with a surprise Cartier gift for all the guests! Women in sales are breaking barriers, forging new paths, and driving innovation every day. So proud to be part of this community 💫

Last night was truly one of the most special of my entire career 💖 Seeing almost 100 women in a room together laughing, connecting, sharing stories, and forging new bonds at our very first Women in Sales X Zillow event was unforgettable We started the event on the beautiful rooftop of The Pendry for a happy hour, then moved to a panel session moderated by the incomparable Jen Allen-Knuth, enjoyed a custom 3 course tasting menu, and capped off the night with open networking 💕 And did I mention Zillow surprised all of our guests with a little Cartier gift?! 👀 When I spoke to the entire group last night, I said that events like this give me hope for the future of sales It’s so rare to share a space surrounded by just women and the energy is truly unmatched We are stronger together and I’m so proud (and grateful) for last night’s event 🌙 Thank you team Zillow for helping bring this event to life! For moms with children under 5, 39% worried they would fall behind on their career trajectory 😞 Jessi Johanson, VP of Sales at Tilt, has reviewed and advised hundreds of customers on their leave policies. Here’s the policy for sales reps she helped build for her team: ✅ Account executives (AEs) work territory and pipeline until the day they leave. ✅ They pro-rate the quarterly quota when the rep leaves by breaking it down by month. -For example, if a rep leaves in the middle of the quarter, they are prorated a month and half of the quota. ✅ While the rep is out, the rep earns commission splits with a rep of equal performance based on the stage the deal was in when the rep left. ✅ Quota retirement and earnings on commission split depend on the stage of the deal ✅ If a deal is already in the closing process, Jessi takes it (rep on leave receives full commission) ✅ With a sales cycle of about 90 days, Tilt’s reps on leave return to 90 days without a quota. -This allows the rep to build a pipeline for 90 days -Jessi also prorates the first quarter depending on the segment (enterprise vs. SMB) QuotaPath put together an incredible blog highlighting voices from our community on the topic of parental leave/policies!
