Our Horizon Safety Boots made their runway debut at the Reinvented STEM fashion show last weekend! Our boots, embellished with "Mars dirt," were a standout element in the incredible look designed by the talented Dora Strelko. One of our amazing Xena ambassadors, Susan Martínez, brought our boots to life with her captivating runway presence. She wore a space suit that transformed into a beautiful Mars-red dress, perfectly embodying the spirit of a bold explorer just back from the Red Planet. We are incredibly excited to support Reinvented Magazine, a nonprofit organization that aspires to break barriers and encourage more girls to pursue their interests in STEM. They are the creators of the nation's first print magazine for women in STEM, continually striving to change perceptions and inspire young women worldwide. 🌟 Last week, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) hosted an incredible career exploration camp for high school girls in the Pittsburgh area! 🌟 Camp NAWIC provided these young women with a hands-on experience in various skilled trades and professions within the construction industry, including roles like electricians, carpenters, engineers, architects, and more. 👷♀️🔧🛠️ Attendees were outfitted with Xena safety boots thanks to NAWIC’s sponsors. For my women friends in manufacturing, I received my first pair of ladies boots today that are also steel toed! They are often times required for a customer visit but have never found any that don’t wear 509# and also look dressy. These are super light and ecstatic they are also in team colors!Thank you, Xena Workwear!
