    2013 CA Lawyer of the Year 🚀 | Author: “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN LAW” 🤖 | CEO x2 | Mediator 🤝 | Speaker 🎤 | Investor 💼 | #ai #web3 #metaverse

Have you tried the AI platform YOU.com? For a small monthly fee you get access to GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Llama, Gemini 1.5 pro and more. The reason I’m bringing You.com up today is because users can now upload multiple files (up to 10) to a single query, including images, documents, and code, with a combined size of up to 25MB. You.com also integrates live web access to easily combine web results and files, allowing you to ground your answers in real-time information. Right now multiple file uploads are available in paid Genius and custom assistants. Pretty slick! Mitch PS- You.com and other powerful #AI services and platforms are shared in the “Resources” section of my new book, “AI In Law” https://lnkd.in/gFtVknZD

B.C. (before ChatGPT) AI has expanded so much in the last two years that people still say, "It came out of nowhere." Many of us worked on the foundational parts a decade ago, and it's incredible to see the progress today. For the next generation building, believe in the conviction of your ideas. Just because an idea is controversial doesn't mean it's wrong. Aim to be controversial but correct. There will be times when others don't immediately recognize the vision you see, but that shouldn't deter you. Instead, it should be a sign that you're onto something transformative. Keep accelerating.

One thing more than any other assures me human creativity is still far ahead of AI and will continue to be for a long time to come. It brings me joy every time I see it in action. It is a key part of all the innovation that You.com has pioneered. It is a perfect example of how much innovation and creativity can thrive in a playful, minimally constrained environment… Hackathons! You.com was at the University of California, Berkeley AI Hackathon and Techstars Startup Weekend in San Francisco. Here were our top projects: Transparify: Real-time fact-checking for live streams EventDash AI: An intelligent event planning assistant Internal.ai: Streamlining stakeholder communications Congrats to the winners and everyone that put their creativity to the test!

"It's very easy to build a quick, semi-accurate LLM prototype, but to make it so you can rely on it in a fintech context for hedge funds or in a biotech context where you want to do research in bio and medicine, it actually is a lot of extra work that people underestimate." Find out how we're making LLMs more accurate and trustworthy in this luminary talk featuring our founder/CEO Richard Socher from #SnowflakeDevDay https://lnkd.in/gC9sfhg9

I was fortunate enough to join Jared Quincy Davis, Jeff Denworth and Nitin Agrawal in conversation with Rob Garlick to discuss AI infrastructure, chips, data centers, storage, and energy. The work being done by these companies (Foundry, VAST Data, and CoreWeave) is astonishing: The space between hardware / bare metal machines and the kind of engineering that companies like You.com does for AI applications is vast and complex. AI has always co-evolved with the hardware it runs on. When I was in research, I would occasionally get state of the art chips hand delivered from NVIDIA (not Jensen though 😄), and I felt the pain of writing some of the first research code that ran PyTorch on TPUs. Strapping your GPUs together and writing all your own distributed training code while debugging cryptic errors that no one had encountered before was a valuable learning experience but not something most AI startups can afford the time to do. These companies are doing that incredibly difficult work at ever larger scales. They are bringing new paradigms of computing from the deep, protected corners of the AI research community to all. That’s a powerful accelerant for AI. And it is empowering a new generation of founders and builders to move quickly and do things that they couldn’t have done before. The continued progress of AI to a large extent depends on companies like these. Thanks to Citi and Sirisha Kadamalakalva for organizing it all!
