About The Role
Latch is looking for an extraordinarily talented Accounts Payable Analyst to support our Real Estate team in Boston, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our financial transactions. You will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities
Enter all approved bills in Quickbooks and AppFolio
Review Budgets and Estimates and AP reports weekly
Print and Mail checks
File all bills
Review and obtain approval for bills in Quickbooks and AppFolio
Enter all billable expenses
Maintain and update databases for Utilities and Real Estate taxes
Generate payments and mail to utility company and municipalities
Reconcile Vendors monthly
Communication with vendors
Send out vendor payments
Accounting Office
Process all mail, email and phone calls pertaining to billing
Order supplies
Attend team meetings
Qualifications
4+ years of experience
Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail required
Ability to multi task and switch gears as needed
Excellent communication skills required (both written and oral)
Solid math and clerical skills (typing, data entry)
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel and Google Workspace
Quickbooks and/or AppFolio experience is favorable. Ability to learn external and internal real estate related applications
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s or Associates degree is a plus; or equivalent work experience
Real Estate industry experience a plus
Knowledge of multifamily housing is a plus.
Computer proficiency, including AppFolio
Property Management software is also preferred.
