About The Job
Dudek is seeking an as-needed hydrogeologist or environmental engineer technical analyst to join our dynamic environmental engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analysis, writing and editing skills, with a strong background and understanding of environmental site assessments and remediation. This role is crucial in ensuring that our technical documents present data that are accurate, clear, and defensible.

Proposed Salary Range: $40-$45 hourly*

About The Job

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below):
- Develop, write, and edit comprehensive technical documents, including reports, proposals, manuals, and regulatory submissions.
- Work closely with environmental engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, and project managers to gather necessary information and compile complex technical data into clear, concise documents.
- Review and revise documents prepared by other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy. Ensure all documents meet company standards for quality, style, and format
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project requirements
- Ensure that all documentation complies with applicable regulatory standards and guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical analysis and writing within the environmental engineering and/or geology sectors, and experience that qualifies towards designation as an environmental professional as defined in Section 312.10 of Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 312.
- Understanding of environmental engineering principles and regulations related to hazardous materials/wastes.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.
- As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check
- Experience with specialized software such as Adobe Creative Suite, GIS applications, and technical drawing tools.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental sites assessments and remediation.
- Demonstrated experience working on large-scale environmental or engineering projects
- Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry standards
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
- This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.
- This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.
- This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Proposed Salary Range: $40-$45 hourly*
- Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location
