Automation QA Tester

Client requires the services of 1 QA Associate/Analyst 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Associate/Analyst 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client .

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Client and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Client will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

This worker will perform manual and possibly automated testing of low to complex business applications. Works with team lead, other QA Analysts and project managers to analyze requirements and test new or existing procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency, effectives and to verify they conform to the requirements. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Years Required/Preferred Experience 8 Required Performing manual and automated testing of web or mobile applications 7 Required Developing test cases for testing mobile and web applications 7 Required Documenting testing results in a detailed manner 5 Required Version control such as Subversion, Gitlab 5 Required Working in a project team environment, Agile Methodology 5 Required Testing to ensure accessibility and other existing standards are met 5 Required Maintaining effective working relationships 5 Required Documenting testing results in Bugzilla, Jira or a similar tool 3 Required Skill writing SQL in industry standard relational databases 5 Preferred Managing multiple task and priorities 5 Preferred Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff 3 Preferred Writing automated test scripts 3 Preferred Leading QA team 2 Preferred Perform and document load testing
