Ferretti Search is thrilled to partner with a leading company in the chemical manufacturing sector to identify their next Buyer. This role offers a significant opportunity for career growth within a family-owned company that values internal promotion and employee development.

Location: Northwest Charlotte - Initially on-site with potential for a hybrid model after six months

Compensation: $77,000-$100,000 + 5-7% Bonus

Benefits: Standard Health/Vision/Dental benefits, ancillary benefits, and three weeks of PTO.

What will your day look like?

Vendor Interaction and Negotiation: Manage relationships with existing suppliers and strategically source new partners to ensure the supply of liquid raw materials.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments within the plant, requiring strong communication skills and minimal travel.

Analytical Responsibilities: Engage in detailed analytical tasks to support purchasing decisions and supply chain efficiency.

Who are you?

Experienced Buyer: You bring 5-10 years of purchasing experience, preferably in chemical or liquid manufacturing industries such as plastics, polymers, pharmaceuticals, or food and beverage.

Education / Experience to match: Although a Bachelors degree is preferred, candidates who have commensurate experience (7+years) can be considered.

Analytical and Proactive: Highly analytical with the ability to work independently without the need for constant supervision.

Skilled in Excel: Proficient with intermediate to advanced Excel, with experience in JD Edwards being advantageous.
