LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Buyer to join our client's Supply Chain team in Dallas. As a Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely procurement of materials and services essential for our operations. You'll manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize inventory levels to meet our supply chain objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities
Source and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and conditions.
Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan inventory levels.
Continuously evaluate and optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role within supply chain.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, including supplier evaluation and contract management.
Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to work a hybrid or fully onsite schedule (3 days in office, 2 remote).
