CAD Drafter

Job Summary

Growing manufacturer in Tulsa is seeking a CAD Drafter to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with structural steel fabrication drafting, experience with 3D modeling using Autodesk Inventor and an Associate's degree. Will consider 3+ years in heat exchanger and/or structural steel fabrication drafting instead of degree.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings and communicate with mechanical design engineers and shop employees
• Perform detailed drafting for air cooling and heat exchange equipment for shop fabrication
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience doing detailed drafting for heat exchange or structural steel equipment
• Knowledge of welded steel fabrication practices
• 3D drafting skills and part modeling
• Ability to create 2D parts drawings and flat patterns
• Familiarity with American Petroleum Institute and OSHA standards
• At least 3 years of experience in heat exchanger or structural steel drafting or Associate's degree in CAD Design
• At least 1 year of 3D modeling experience using Autodesk Inventor software
• Associates degree preferred
