What You'll Do

As a CAD Draftsperson, working at Enstall, you will be responsible for creating and controlling production drawings/documentation for industry leading commercial and residential system solar racking products. This role will work within a dynamic product documentation team, responsible for creating and controlling manufacturing drawings and technical data sheets. You will work cross-functionally with multiple business units, product managers, product designers, manufacturing engineers, and other stakeholders of the company on both new product introductions and sustaining engineering programs.

• Create 3D CAD models from concepts
• Create production ready 2D drawings of parts and assemblies that meet ASME Y14.5 GD&T and internal drafting standards using SolidWorks v2022 and PDM Vault revision management
• Review and integrate Supplier design for manufacturing feedback into updated drawings to gain Supplier approval/signoff
• Coordinate the drawing integration with manufacturing engineers and necessary stakeholders
• Create technical data sheets and CAD blocks for customer usage
• Document and maintain accurate record of drawing revisions and affected drawings
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Drafting (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ related experience in drafting or 3D model design
• Strong 3D modeling, and drawing skills, using SolidWorks v2022, and PDM Vault
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across functional groups and diverse audiences, while working in a dynamic team and project focused environment
• Experience creating manufacturing drawings for high volume production methods such as extrusion, casting, die-casting, cold heading, stampings, and injection molding using materials including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and various plastics
• Ability to understand and incorporate industry standard codes and specification such as ASME, ANSI, IFI, DIN, UL, SAE, ASTM, etc. into manufacturing drawings
• Experience and understanding of ECR, ECO, DCA processes and ISO requirements
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  
  
  

Where You'll Be Located

This position is located on-site in one of our product development locations in either the Phoenix, AZ, Hayward, CA, or North Andover (Boston), MA areas.

What We’ll Offer

We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the base salary for this position to be between $60,000 and $85,000 annually, if located in the San Francisco Bay Area market. In addition to base salary, Enstall employees are eligible for either an annual bonus or commission, depending on their position. If your desired salary falls outside of these rates, we hope you'll still apply as there may be other positions that better align.
