As our Care Specialist supporting the UK, you will assist with various tasks to support families and individuals and address their unique caretaking needs by leveraging knowledge and expertise with UK benefits, healthcare systems, and programs.
You will report directly to the Director of Care, Global.
To Be Successful In This Role
Meet a required task capacity threshold that aligns with hours worked and the nature of tasks, comparable to peers. Conduct research and assess large amounts of information effectively and creatively.
Remains solution focused and engages in creative thinking to secure quality solutions.
Communicates effectively and collaborates appropriately with internal teams such as Care Coordinators and Director of Care, Global.
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to engage thoughtfully and clearly with our members; actively guiding our members when time permits for coverage
Support with improving and updating Wellthy’s Guides and Team Resources.
Represent Wellthy at events such as health fairs, open enrollments, and internal/external webinars (travel and expenses covered by Wellthy; if interested and when applicable)
Other non-client-specific work, including but not limited to: feedback and guidance on Wellthy’s product, service, guides, etc.; contribution to the team culture; writing and advising for marketing materials; and support and teamwork for other service team members.
The starting salary for this position is £45,300.00 - £48,400.00
Location
This is a remote and UK-based opportunity supporting the UK territory. We ask that you work in a location that is:
Private, with secure (not public) internet and phone access
Suitable to safely and securely accommodate the sensitive information that you will be handling and communicating
Given the nature of the material you will be working on and handling, you are required to work from a private, dedicated, distraction-free space
Qualifications
It is important to note that you will need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, creative, and be comfortable in knowing that we are constantly evolving.
1+ years work experience in Health Care, Caregiving field, as well as customer service or administrative experience.
Demonstrated ability to plan and communicate effectively with members in a remote environment
Experience researching and vetting medical providers and specialists
Has done research to find resources and is comfortable with making calls to further vet those resources.
Experience with various benefits, schemes and programs along with insurance claims specific to the UK.
Familiar with the medical system and benefits in this region.
University Degree or Higher
Proficiency with macOS systems, G Suite, Slack, 1Password
Qualifications That Are Preferred But Not Mandatory
Housing: 1+ years experience in senior living facilities or property management, low income housing, or facility placement preferred
Mental Health: Experience in mental health/ substance abuse with a general knowledge of diagnoses. Experience locating mental health providers, residential facilities, and support groups
In Home Support: experience with private and agency in-home support services including childcare, elderly care, personal care
Total Rewards Package
Salary Range: £45,300.00 - £48,400.00
