We are seeking an experienced Chief Business Officer to join our expanding Site Management Organization (SMO). We currently oversee three thriving sites and are on an ambitious path to expand by adding a new site every other month. Our extensive network and robust partnerships empower us to deliver high-quality site management services that support pivotal clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Chief Business Officer, you will play a crucial role in driving our strategic vision and sales efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of our sales strategy. You will be hands-on in driving client acquisition, maintaining strong relationships, and expanding our market presence.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies that align with our goals for rapid expansion and operational excellence. You will identify new market opportunities and devise plans to capture them effectively.
  • Financial Forecasting: Provide comprehensive long-term financial forecasts and business models. Your insights will be critical in guiding strategic decisions and ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Oversee the development and optimization of our Customer Relationship Management system and sales pipeline. Your efforts will enhance our client engagement and streamline our business development processes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and grow a small team of professionals. You will have the autonomy to shape your team as needed to support our evolving business needs, fostering an environment of collaboration and high performance.


Growth Potential:

We are on an exciting growth trajectory, with plans to add a new site every two months. This rapid expansion is supported by our extensive network and strategic partnerships, positioning us to significantly increase our impact in the clinical research industry.

Your role will be instrumental in steering this growth, ensuring that we capitalize on opportunities and maintain our momentum.


Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong background in sales and business development, within the site/ SMO sector. Key attributes include:

  • Strategic Visionary: Ability to think long-term and develop strategies that align with our ambitious growth plans.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven experience in sales management with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in leveraging CRM systems for business development and client management.
  • SMO Expert: Having spent a good number of years within sales in the SMO space is essential. Please refrain from applying from this position if you lack sales experience at a site or Site Network/SMO


Package:

  • Flexible base salary depending upon experience
  • Company performance bonus & Personal commission payments on top
  • Equity available
