Overview:
NV is partnered with a leading private-equity-backed multi-site healthcare consolidation platform with over 80 practices across the South East. Our client has built a solid reputation within their industry and are now looking to scale aggressively as they head towards their next event.
Job Summary:
For the role, we are looking for an experienced and 'hungry' Chief Development Officer (CDO) to become an influential executive team member, working side-by-side with the CEO and Board. The CDO will be expected to build a strong business development engine, refine their Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) playbook, and drive growth thought their current and new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute growth strategies.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships.
Business Development:
Build and manage a robust BD pipeline.
Create and implement a referral system.
Expand into new markets.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
Refine and optimize the M&A playbook.
Understand and navigate complex deal structures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years in business development, mergers and acquisitions, or a related field in healthcare (Dental, Veterinary, PT, Behavioral Health, Physician Services, etc.).
Proven track record in leading M&A transactions (end-to-end) and growth initiatives.
Strong financial acumen; experience in private equity-backed environments is preferred.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
