Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the firm's executive team. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and driving operational efficiency to support their growth objectives. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in the investment management industry, particularly within private markets.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the firm, ensuring seamless integration of processes across departments.
Strategic Planning: Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the firm’s strategic plan, focusing on growth and scalability.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Risk Management: Ensure robust risk management frameworks are in place to protect the firm’s assets and reputation.
Client Relations: Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
Financial Oversight: Work with the CFO to oversee financial performance, budgeting, and reporting.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in the investment management sector
3+ years of experience as a COO within a private markets investor
MBA preferred but not required
