Position Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the development and execution of the organization’s strategic goals and plans. The COO will be responsible for developing and managing Lime Connect’s operational capabilities to ensure a consistent, exceptional experience for members of the Lime Connect community as well as our corporate and university partners. `This is a fully remote role and an outstanding opportunity for a proven leader with deep passion for Lime Connect’s mission and a track record of creative problem-solving and change management to support the growth of a dynamic, mission-driven organization.


Core Responsibilities

●      Manage and develop the Lime Connect team, setting clear operations and development goals, objectives, and priorities.

●      Work closely with the CEO on annual planning and strategically drive growth through data-driven business analysis and market intelligence.

●      Work closely with the CEO and the Finance chair to deliver appropriate financial policies and controls in order to maximize utilization of all resources.

●      Lead the ongoing development of the Lime Community Platform to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization, the Lime Community, and our corporate partners in order to meet the organization’s critical mission and growth goals.

●      Lead the annual development and delivery of Lime Partner scorecards.

●      Ensure that Lime Connect adheres to the strategic plan including preparing and delivering status reports to the Board of Directors. 


Preferred Qualifications

●      8 - 10 years of experience in operations or a related field.

●      Bachelor’s degree and a relevant graduate degree is ideal.

●      A strong passion for Lime Connect’s mission and elevating the disability community. Previous experience in the disability space is a plus.

●      Significant operational experience in growing, mission-driven organizations, ideally with direct exposure to non-profits.

●      Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.

●      Strong people management and coaching experience for a team with diverse levels of expertise.

●      Entrepreneurial, results-oriented team player who can manage diverse, critical activities.

●      Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior leaders, the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
