Civil Engineer

Basic Job Functions:

The successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:

• Review contract documents, including transmission line drawings and project specifications.
• Design transmission, distribution, substation, and other utility structures, focusing on tubular steel poles and arms.
• Perform tasks ranging from preliminary design concept pre-sale to final design post-sale, utilizing tools such as PLS-Pole for global design and proprietary calculations for component design.
• Assume project responsibility if licensed, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Provide technical support and collaborate with sales, detailing, project management, and production teams.
• Effectively communicate and coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders, including other design professionals.
• Occasional travel required to company plants, utility offices, field locations, or trade shows.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
