Job Summary:

As part of the global corporate marketing team, the content writer researches; conducts interviews with subject matter experts; and uses AI and related productivity tools to write content for multiple distribution platforms and audience profiles in support of business development, brand building, and content marketing while optimizing for on-page SEO. This position provides project management for various content writing tasks. The successful candidate is a self-starter who is organized, ensures accuracy, pays attention to detail, and completes projects according to deadlines and priorities. This is a remote position with Eastern time zone hours.


Responsibilities:

  • Leverage mastery of the written word to engage a global English-speaking audience with information about iQor’s customer experience (CX) solutions and technologies.
  • Effectively write case studies, blog posts, white papers, and other long-form content to promote the iQor brand, mission, values, and specific messaging to stakeholders while supporting sales enablement.
  • Write and edit short-form content such as email campaigns, talking points, one-pagers, presentation decks, web copy, social media posts, and more.
  • Assist with the development and execution of go-to-market plans.
  • Create all content in alignment with iQor’s positive brand voice and style; adhere to AP Style guidelines.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging, corporate branding, style, and guidelines.
  • Create compelling and accurate narrative content pieces that are consistent across multiple communication channels.
  • Recommend and deploy on-page SEO best practices inherent in content development with exceptional storytelling.
  • Participate in subject-matter-expert discovery calls, take notes, and strategize with colleagues on content possibilities.
  • Draft and write content to help prospective clients understand iQor’s CX solutions and capabilities.
  • Leverage marketing technology—including AI-powered tools—to maximize efficiency and speed of content production.
  • Participate as a valuable member of the global marketing team in developing digital content, such as videos, gifs, digital signage, infographics, emails, newsletters, presentation decks, and more.
  • Continually explore new and innovative ways to produce content; share insights with marketing team members.
  • Manage deadline-driven projects with flexibility to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Leverage innovative technology and tools that boost quality, output, or both.
  • Perform other content marketing duties as assigned, including but not limited to, posting task updates in project management software (Wrike), following up with subject matter experts, and populating online content in WordPress, etc.


Skills Requirements:

  • Expert command of the English language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Familiarity with AP Style.
  • Excellent oral communication to interact with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration, researching, and interviewing skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a writing style reflective of the iQor brand voice in all content.
  • Flexibility to write in various formats such as case studies, white papers, blogs, podcasts, social media, video scripts, newsletters, emails, interviews, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn unfamiliar subject matter in the BPO space and write about it authoritatively and accurately.
  • A love of storytelling to capture the reader’s attention through various formats and modalities.
  • Self-starter with excellent organization and the ability to manage one’s own projects and workflows.
  • Strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-output environment.


The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have Experience in the Following Areas:

  • Writing about B2B programs and processes for an educated business end-user audience.
  • Distilling sources of information into meaningful inputs.
  • Crafting simple and compelling presentations to communicate key ideas.
  • Embracing and working with an established brand identity.
  • Utilizing project collaboration technology (e.g., Wrike, etc.).Microsoft Office and other digital platforms.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative tools such as Frase, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Surfer SEO, Semrush, etc. to optimize content output.


Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in communications, marketing, English, or social sciences preferred.


Interview Process:

  • Qualified candidates will be invited to write and submit a 1,000-word piece, for interview purposes only, on an assigned topic reflective of the work in this role.
  • Provide a portfolio of work (if available).


Physical Requirements:

Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
