We're looking for our first Controller to help us build a best-in-class accounting and financial operations function to support Prismatic as we continue to rapidly scale. In the role, you will be the subject matter expert in all things accounting and will be a driving force for process improvements across the Finance function. You will report to and work closely with our VP, Finance.

You will...

• Direct Prismatic's accounting function and take responsibility for all processes and systems that roll up into that function
• Lead the entire financial closing process, guaranteeing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Work closely with the VP, Finance to prepare investor reporting and update ongoing budgeting/forecasting
• Collaborate across Prismatic to drive process improvements and optimize efficiency in financial operations, including but not limited to customer payments, payroll, invoicing, and expense processing
• Ensure the company adheres to all tax regulations and filing requirements
• Own relationships with external auditors and tax advisors; manage annual audits and handle all tax-related workstreams
• Manage banking relationships and optimize cash management strategy
• As needed directly contribute to any aspect of accounting operations as team capacity dictates
• Contribute to or take ownership of ad hoc projects across the Finance function
  
  

You might be a good fit if you...

• Have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience at B2B SaaS companies
• Have excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Are a self-starter with ability to plan and implement strategy with limited supervision
• Have led or been heavily involved with accounting/finance system implementations and migrations
• Are passionate about building scalable processes and automating accounting workflows and bring a knowledge of what a good, scaled accounting organization looks like
• Have a strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles, particularly as they apply to B2B SaaS companies
• Bring a strong attention to detail and desire to get the small things right
  
  

The pay range for this role is...

• $130,000.00 - $155,000.00/year; no equity is included at this time.
