Position Overview
As a Controls and Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance and reliability issues. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide plant staff, helping them understand the intricacies of these issues. Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve automation and instrumentation maintenance and reliability issues.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to plant staff, enhancing their understanding of automation systems.
Hands-on Engineering: Engage in practical engineering tasks to improve plant operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement.
Work Flexibility: Enjoy occasional work-from-home opportunities to support personal needs while contributing to a first-name-basis company culture.
The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve maintenance and reliability issues while teaching other staff the ins/outs of the issues
Qualifications:
Proven experience in controls and automation engineering, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective mentorship and team collaboration.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
