Luminary Group is currently seeking a highly strategic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in Real World Evidence (RWE) and previous experience working with private equity-backed companies. As the COO, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our client by overseeing and optimizing operations, leading a talented team, and implementing strategic initiatives. Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the overall operational strategy, in alignment with the company's vision and objectives
Lead and manage all operational functions, including finance, human resources, IT, and project management
Optimize and streamline operational processes and systems to drive efficiency and scalability
Oversee the financial performance of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Work closely with the executive team and board of directors to develop and execute strategic initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment across the organization
Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and support
Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations and legal requirements
Identify and pursue opportunities for operational improvement and business growth
Represent the company in external relationships, including with investors and strategic partners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of [number] years of experience in a senior leadership role, ideally as a COO or in a similar capacity
Proven track record of success in optimizing operations and driving business growth
Prior experience working with private equity-backed companies strongly preferred
