Calling all “attention-to-detail is my middle name” planners! Our Event Programs team is searching for their newest member. This person will work with the Manager, Event Programs to project manage a portion of our conference and internal events program, with support for tradeshows and creative production. If you color-code your shopping lists, ponder how that movie built their set, or take guilty pleasure in building budgets – you’re one of us and we want to hear from you!
What will you do here? Core responsibilities include the project management of events and other creative endeavors. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage pre- and post-event planning meetings and continually update team members on findings in a proactive manner.
Onsite lead for vendors, technical set up team, and attendees and/or guests.
Complete all event service orders required for assigned events.
Interact with vendors and utilize event and team management systems daily. Support sourcing of vendors and systems as needed, constantly seeking to improve and streamline processes and think outside the box.
Maintain tracking logistics of materials and tasks related to assigned events.
Inventory accountability for all managed equipment, exhibit & product shipments or usage - including location tracking, internal communication, and corrective action processes when applicable
Assist with promotional and printed material procurement for events
Manage event feedback and metrics, formatting for analysis and providing suggestions for future improvements.
Work within given event budgets, including committed spend, invoice processing, and cost accrual.
Provide overall event team support as required. Work cross functionally with all departments within the organization.

Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
0-1 years of event coordinating experience
0-1 years customer service experience
Work in a related position/industry
Not required, but awesome if you have them:
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
Event Management Software platform experience
Physical demands: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Physical Demands: Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs.
Expected travel time for this position is up to 10%.
Target Salary:
The approximate pay range is $25-27/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
