What You Will Work On

As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex business problems and leveraging data from internal and external sources to provide strategic insights to decision-makers. You will identify trends, interpret patterns in datasets, and develop forecasts, recommendations, and tactical plans based on comprehensive business data and market knowledge. Your responsibilities will include creating specifications for reports and analyses, leading cross-functional teams to address business issues, and producing datasets and reports using system reporting tools.

  • Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to uncover key influences.
  • Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and data availability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and provide consultation to address business challenges.
  • Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
  • Lead initiatives across consumer and commercial analytics functions to achieve strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand requirements and develop sustainable data solutions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Document and communicate systems and analytics changes in business-relevant language.
  • Validate key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop queries to measure business performance quantitatively.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to understand the business impact of data anomalies and outliers.
  • Develop data governance standards from data ingestion to product documentation.
  • Develop SQL queries and data visualizations for ad-hoc analysis and ongoing reporting needs.
  • Organize and transform data into comprehensible structures to support decision-making.
  • Use data to predict trends, perform statistical analysis, and extract actionable insights.
  • Monitor data quality, identify and remove corrupt data, ensuring data integrity.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks for high-volume data processing.
  • Improve existing processes through automation and efficient workflows.
  • Design and deliver scalable data and analytics solutions to support strategic decisions.
  • Support standard methodologies in reporting and analysis, including data integrity and validation.
  • Independently conduct end-to-end analysis to advise on product strategy, data architecture, and reporting decisions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 8-9 years directly relevant work experience.
  • Alternatives accepted:
  • PhD or Law degree + 6 years of experience
  • Master's degree + 7 years of experience
  • Associate's degree + 9 years of experience
  • High School diploma + 10 years of experience
  • Proven experience in:
  • Data analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Leading cross-functional teams and addressing business challenges.
  • Developing SQL queries, data visualizations, and data governance standards.
  • Implementing new technologies and improving data processes through automation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion.
