Title: Data Analyst II Location: Remote Duration: 6+ month contract Compensation: $35.00 - 45.00/hr. Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting recruited testing utilizing RCT methodology to inform highly important strategic business decisions. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure studies recruit the correct advertisers, studies are well powered and optimize testing related data processes. This will be a collaborative role that works in partnership with data scientists, data engineers, and Global Product Services program managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain scripts and queries to identity advertisers to recruit for experiments
Develop and implement queries and statistical models to analyze data and extract insights
Conduct power analyses of experiments to determine the budget required to achieve statistical significance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop data-driven solutions, representing key data insights in a meaningful way
Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover patterns and relationships within the data
Continuously monitor data quality and integrity to ensure accuracy and consistency
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics
Define and manage SLA for data sets in allocated areas of ownership
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or related field
2+ years experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge of SQL
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
Experience with experimentation; A/B tests, RCT test design and statistical analysis techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
