What ?
This role will encompass the following :
· Own revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 including contract review and prepare revenue schedule, and the accuracy and completeness of billing operations; including preparing and reviewing: invoicing batches, journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly def rev roll forward and recon, calculation of deferred commissions and other deferred expense, perform contract modification analysis in accordance with ASC 606, Audit prep support, ERP system. optimization, AR and collections schedules, AR reserve, AR BOD slide report.
· Ensure complete accurate customer invoices (monthly / quarterly / annual) in a timely manner.
· Ensure month end close done in a timely manner for invoicing, AR, AR Reserve.
· Experience & knowledge in internal controls in OTC.
· Oversee operational processes and accounting owned by the accounting team (including invoicing, collections, deferred revenue amortization, deferred revenue waterfall schedules and commissions plans and reporting).
· Manage day-to-day revenue accounting activities to ensure compliance with the U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and external audits.
Who ?
