Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a People Operations Leader to advance our company-wide people strategy. This individual will ensure all policies and processes prioritize and enhance the employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. The People Operations Director will collaborate with the leadership team, spearheading company-wide programs focused on enhancing leadership development, fostering employee engagement, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

You may be a fit for this role if you:

  • Are a seasoned HR leader with a proven track record of efficiently managing operations across a geographically dispersed, global workforce. Have demonstrated expertise in navigating the complexities of remote work environments to foster employee engagement and productivity
  • Possess exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal capabilities
  • Have 5+ years of experience in HR roles with a track record of building standardized processes in a multinational setting
  • Have 3+ years of experience solving complex challenges in a global remote work environment.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse team of amazingly talented and fun people, but are also capable of working independently in a fast-paced startup environment

What you will be working on:

  • Oversee the entire employee journey from talent acquisition to career growth and retention
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to foster team cohesion and enhance organizational efficiency across US and European time zones. Your success will be vital for driving sustainable growth and achieving strategic objectives
  • Continuously monitor and analyze employee engagement, recruitment, and diversity, equity, and inclusion metrics to identify trends and inform strategic decisions that foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Nurture an environment that fosters mutual respect, transparent dialogue, and collaborative relationships, cultivating a culture of openness and cooperation in line with Leap’s values
  • Continuous improvement of the performance management system, and annual review of compensation, benefits, and equity against the current market.
  • Create standardized practices and documented processes for People Operations, including benefits, compensation, and employee equity. Maintain in-depth knowledge of local employment laws to ensure compliance with relevant employment practices and regulations in the Americas, Europe, and additional future growth markets
  • Ensure the organization adheres to legal requirements and oversees processes related to payroll and the EOR’s for the global workforce.
  • Develop internal policies that cultivate a positive and cohesive company culture

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
