We have R&D formulation labs in both the USA and overseas. We work with the customers to help them develop innovative new products for the global market.


We are looking to hire a new Director of Sales with channel distribution management experience with either food Ingredients or chemicals. This position will have 2 direct reports and 4 indirect reports.


Requirements:

  • 10 years minimum experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of value-added functionally active food or nutritional ingredients or industrial chemicals in a B-to-B sales capacity.
  • 3 years minimum experience managing chemical distributors like Univar, Brenntag, Batory, IMCD, Ravago/Mays, Azelis, Mays, Stauber, Skidmore, Barentz, LBB, Prinova, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree is required. MBA preferred.
  • A proven and successful track record of working with distribution channels including technical product training, price approval, sales support, joint calls to customer locations, etc.
  • A confident and hard-working attitude.
  • Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality
  • Excellent negotiation skills, writing and presentation of contracts, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability and desire to travel as much as needed to get the job done
