Attentive, a leading SaaS organization with over 1,000 employees, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Procurement to join our team. This role reports directly to our VP of Finance and offers a unique opportunity to build and optimize our sourcing process from the ground up.

  • Build and Optimize Sourcing Processes: Develop and implement a robust sourcing strategy to support the growth and scalability of Attentive. Create efficient, transparent, and scalable processes that align with our business objectives.
  • Negotiate Key Contracts: Lead high-impact negotiations with vendors and partners, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with our strategic goals. Manage and mitigate risks while securing the best value for the organization.
  • Provide Decision Support: Collaborate with departmental leaders to understand their procurement needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations. Support decision-making processes with comprehensive market analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Ensure performance metrics are met and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and other departments to ensure procurement activities are aligned with overall business strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Be a thought leader identifying opportunities to enhance our procurement capabilities and drive operational excellence.
  • Drive Change: Roll up your sleeves and dive into the details to drive change and improve processes. Your proactive approach and hands-on leadership will set the standard for excellence within the procurement function.
  • Influence & Lead: Be a thought leader within the organization, influencing others with your strategic vision and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.


About you
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, driving alignment and achieving results.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and managing vendor relationships.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Change Agent: Demonstrated ability to drive change, improve processes, and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) are a plus.

For US based applicants:

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $225,000 base + equity + benefits

- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
