What will you be Doing:
The Contracting Director is responsible for sourcing and management for the portfolio of contracts within an assigned service line, which will include multiple strategic contracts or relationships. Specifically, Directors will be responsible for
Strategic Supplier Relationship Management
Negotiations
Contract Operational and Financial Management (strategic suppliers)
Creating short term strategy, and developing plans on how the department will support strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience - 7 or more years
Education:
Bachelors
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant Experience to include:
High dollar volume contracts ($>100 million in annual sales) for complex products and/or services.
Experience managing contractual relationships with multiple Fortune 500 level suppliers.
Experience supporting internal or external customers Experience using databases/data warehouses to mine data
Healthcare and/or GPO contract negotiations and management
Education:
Masters

Working Conditions: Remote
Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $99,000 - $185,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
