About You:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Supply Chain to lead the daily supply chain activities at Nutrafol. This role will be responsible for managing days of inventory across all fulfillment centers, contract manufacturers, and other supply chain nodes. This role entails delivering on cost-saving goals, managing OTIF (on-time and in-full) performance, and managing our Material Resource Plan (MRP). A detailed knowledge of the nutraceutical marketplace for raw materials, packaging items, 3rd party vendors, and contract manufactures is essential.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire supply chain process from vendor management, production, logistics, supply planning, and inventory planning.
Maintain accuracy of data for all supply chain related metrics (OTIF, Days of Inventory, logistics efficiency, etc) and implement improvements as needed.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee the logistics of new product launches and product expansions, working alongside many cross-functional teams such as sourcing, procurement, product development, and Quality & Regulatory.
Work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure production schedules meet demand forecasts.
Lead the strategy of supply chain resilience to qualify and manage onboarding new vendors and contract manufacturers.
Lead and empower a team of 3-5 supply chain team members that align with the overall organization's cultural strategies, while maintaining high performance.
Escalate any issues within the supply chain to the VP of Supply Chain & Procurement within a reasonable amount of time, focusing on bringing solutions to solve unforeseen issues.
Work with other cross functional teams to support larger company wide projects, such as launching new products or rolling out a new process, or inventory reconciliations.
Optimize Cost of goods sold (COGs) by controlling expenses, labor, gain competitive pricing and implement lean principles.
Requirements:
7-10 years of related experience managing supply chain within the Vitamins, Minerals, Supplements or nutraceuticals space
4 + years of experience hiring, managing and coaching people
Experience managing a budget and understanding financial implications of operational decisions
Advanced Excel knowledge and Microsoft Office experience; Google Suite is a plus
Experience with general accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial forecasting
Ability to work well with other cross functional partners across the organization
Clear communication with vendors and suppliers, with the ability to build & establish relationships with new and existing vendors
Strong technical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively across organization
Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
Salary Range:
$155,000—$170,000 USD
