Prepare and/or manage preparation of detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports for power distribution and electrical systems, electrical systems for industrial facilities.
Travel to site and evaluate existing systems and obtain data.
Develop One-line diagrams, electrical room layouts, Raceway and Wiring specification layout and schedules, lighting design, grounding design.
Specification of switchgear, transformers, MCC’s, power panels and associated electrical equipment.
Lighting and Grounding System design.
Power analysis utilizing Easy Power and/or SKM.
Short Circuit analysis
Arc Flash Analysis
Protective Device Coordination
Commission support for electrical systems.
Familiar with appropriate codes and standards including NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience preferred.
Engineers must have a BS degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Designers with appropriate experience and knowledge will be considered.
Will require travel to client sites.
Availability and ability to work overtime as needed.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to work remotely or in the office as required.
