We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer specialized in Commercial and Industrial (C&I) energy storage systems to join our dynamic team in Langhorne, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with specific expertise in the design, development, and implementation of energy storage systems. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, project management skills, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop energy storage systems for commercial and industrial applications.
  • Perform detailed electrical engineering analyses, including system sizing, performance optimization, and safety assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of energy storage systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to support project development.
  • Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of energy storage systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, user manuals, and data sheets.

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in energy storage.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on energy storage systems for C&I applications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of battery technologies, power electronics, and energy management systems
  • Previous experience with lithium-ion battery systems preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA codes, NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) certifications, and other related regulations for C&I energy storage systems.
  • Knowledge of energy policies, regulations, and incentives related to energy storage preferred
  • Experience with system integration, grid connectivity, and renewable energy sources.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals and data sheets.
