OVERVIEW


Join Flower Turbines as an Electrical Power Engineer and contribute to the forefront of the renewable energy revolution. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Power Engineer to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team in driving on-grid and off-grid power solutions for our wind turbine systems. You will work on integrating wind energy solutions and be responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of electrical power systems, focusing on generators and battery technologies. This is a remote position, but you must be willing to travel to Lubbock, Texas, as and when required. CAREER DUTIES 


  1. Plan, develop, design and implement integrating wind energy solutions on and off the grid.
  2. Supervise the manufacture of the turbines, systems and equipment.
  3. Examine system and component capabilities by testing.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative approaches to wind energy generation and distribution.
  5. Utilize expertise in controllers and power systems to optimize the functionality and performance of wind turbines.
  6. Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical challenges related to wind energy integration.
  7. Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to enhance Flower Turbines' competitive edge.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in the design and implementation of wind energy projects, with a focus on on/off-grid integration.
  3. In-depth knowledge of controllers, inverters, and power electronics used in wind turbine systems.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  6. Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving sustainability initiatives.
