Enterprise Architect Manager

Job Summary

Creates the strategies, activities and manages staff responsible for emerging IT services architecture and design.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement the IT architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to define, design, and document IT solutions that meet emerging business requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and cost optimization.
  • Manage a team of IT architects, providing strategic leadership and guidance to achieve enterprise objectives.

  • Guides junior-level staff on the effective implementation of new information technologies within the organization.

  • Monitors information technology users to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Resolves all technical and administrative problems that occur in the design, application and evaluation of information technology.

Enterprise Architecture (EA): Knowledge of enterprise architecture; ability to develop, communicate and control methods and models for business processes, information systems and infrastructure.

Level Extensive Experience:

  • Shares experiences with creating or enhancing architectural models for one or more domains.
  • Develops models and plans to drive forward the strategy and promote business performance improvement opportunities.
  • Directs the discussion of issues and considerations for adopting a specific enterprise architecture.
  • Discusses leading frameworks or providers of methods and tools for developing an enterprise architecture.
  • Assesses and communicates the business costs, benefits, risks and issues for alternative architectural strategies.
  • Consults on architectural integration and implementation issues, and their business implications.

Education:

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired

  • The primary locations for this position are Peoria, IL, Dallas, TX or Nashville, TN
  • This position requires you to work in the office three times a week, with some flexibility.
  • Sponsorship is not available.
  • Travel up to 25%.
