About The Role

The Facilities Manager reports to the Director of Development and has no direct reports. This position will be responsible for working with external partners and vendors and they will help bring honeygrow’s mission to life through creating, maintaining, and executing a best-in-class facilities management program. The Facilities Manager role at honeygrow offers significant growth potential in a rapidly expanding company.

ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all aspects of honeygrow’s preventative maintenance program. This includes preventative/routine maintenance as well as emergency maintenance and repair. Must plan strategically to support the program, short and long term.
  • Responsible for the successful facilities oversight of all restaurant locations (existing locations and those newly turned over from construction).
  • Manages our vendor partnerships to maintain top notch service at the best possible cost.
  • Manages our external facilities dispatch partner. Conducts regular meetings with them to make sure they are providing the highest possible quality of service to our teams.
  • Manages and supports scheduled preventative maintenance services, such as hood/exhaust, grease trap, Combi-Ovens, Wok Ranges, Water Heaters, HVAC, etc. Should have a system to follow up and ensure quality and thorough completion of PM services.
  • Routinely visits restaurants to audit/gauge needs, follow up on projects, and validate the quality and completion of vendor work. During visits, the FM is responsible for working with the DM/GM to observe, assess and document the overall facilities conditions of the unit.
  • Partner with Finance to manage energy procurement, usage and setup of all utilities for new stores.
  • Partners with the Training/Operations team to educate them on how to better maintain their facilities and equipment.
  • Partner with the Training/Operations Services team to create best in class systems for closing, opening, cleaning and maintaining facilities daily.
  • Responds and is available to support emergency facilities situations within an appropriate time frame.
  • Serves as a liaison between restaurants, RSC and vendors, ensuring that the business and our operations are the priority.
  • Approves invoices, audits, expense reports, etc. in a timely manner and without error.
  • Assist in the development of and ensure adherence to existing store capital budgets including rollout of new fixtures, furniture and equipment.
  • Conduct repair/replace analysis of all equipment as necessary.
  • Collect and maintain a database of all equipment.
  • Partner with the Director of Development and the finance team to develop and manage R&M, utilities, and trash removal budgets.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of restaurant related experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of facilities management related experience.
  • Restaurant facilities experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to an automobile for daily use.


Please note that this is not a remote position. honeygrow’s Restaurant Support Center (HQ) is located in Philadelphia, PA.
