Our client in crypto is looking to make their first legal hire to lead on legal matters for the business. To be remote working but based in Europe or US.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

• Act as Sole Counsel and chief legal advisor to the business, leading on regulatory and commercial matters, ensuring the business is adhering to regulations and enabling their growth in the Web3 sphere.
• Provide key legal support and services on a corporate governance and risk management matters.
• Be hands-on and proactive, setting up agreements, contracts and corporate documents.
• Spearhead advisory to the wide range of business departments.

Ideal Requirements:

• 10+ years relevant experience, ideally both at a law firm and at a Web3 entity.
• Extensive experience within the crypto and Web3 regulatory landscape - Essential.
• Strong generalist regulatory knowledge, with litigation expertise.
• JD degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in one or more jurisdictions.
• Strong leadership skills and exceptional stakeholder management.
