Role Summary

The HR Generalist will be a vital member of the Humata Health team, responsible for a wide range of HR functions. This role requires a versatile and proactive individual who can handle various tasks related to HR support, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and more. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and will be instrumental in supporting our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Onboarding: Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new employees are effectively integrated into the company culture and operations.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • HR Support: Assist with the administration of HR programs, including benefits, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Policy Development: Help create and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and values.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • HR Metrics: Track and analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making and improve HR processes.
  • Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive company culture, organizing team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Proven ability to drive HR initiatives and projects to completion.
