Clayton Services is searching for an HVAC Technician to join a thriving company in the North Houston area. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for assisting, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00/hour plus OT

HVAC Technician Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate correctly.
Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing HVAC units.
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
Repair or replace parts on existing HVAC systems.
Other duties as assigned.
HVAC Technician Skills and Abilities:
Knowledgable of HVAC systems and equipment
Ability to read operation and repair manuals.
Ability to use hand and power tools, thermometers, pressure gauges, and more.
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
HVAC Technician Education and Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience is required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical training school or apprenticeship is highly preferred.
HVAC Technician Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work outdoors in hot conditions.
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to use a ladder.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.
